"Gather the kids! Paws for Reading storytime is back. Each week we'll have a special guest reader and pet share a favorite children's book.
Lindsay Brockman is the director of the Susan M. Markel Veterinary Hospital at the Richmond SPCA, and she and her dog Mr. Miyagi are also volunteers at William Fox Elementary School with our Paws for Reading program. While students were still in school, the pair visited Ms. Treadway's kindergarden class each month. Miyagi is a great listener and helps the students practice their reading skills. Lindsay is reading "Miss Nelson is Missing" with Miyagi, and they hope your kids will read along if you have this book at home."
