LOLOL!
This morning Wicker & Wilde shared with you that Gen Z is calling Millennials out for their disingenuous LOLs . . .
Many people prefer texting to just about EVERYTHING ELSE these days . . . over calls, emails, and meetings.
But even texting can get under people's skin: Like how Millennials add "lol" or "haha" to the end of every text, but let's be honest, "LOL" hasn't TRULY stood for "laugh out loud" for a decade. So maybe we need something new, for more specific applications.
Here is the list of "new alternatives to LOL":
1. LAL - Laughed A Little
2. LIMH - Laughed Inside My Head
3. DBIASW - Depressed, But In A Silly Way
4. WTHS - What The Heck, Sure
5. ACOOMN - Air Came Out Of My Nose
6. LBO - Laughing By Obligation
7. SC - Sensible Chuckle
8. LUT - Let's Unpack That
9. LSIDC - Laughing So I Don't Cry
10. TJNW - That Joke Needs Work
11. BTUIT - Bringing This Up In Therapy
12. AYF - Are You Flirting
13. CIAWW - Cackling In A Witchy Way
14. HBAT - Hanging By A Thread
15. IST - I'm Screenshotting This.
Clearly, these aren't all INTERCHANGEABLE with LOL . . . the idea is just ushering in new internet slang to represent different, specific feelings . . . now that LOL is becoming increasingly meaningless.
