Bluey’s Zest for Life

Adopt Don’t Shop

Cutie!

Richmond Animal League

Bluey is a one-year-old goofball with a constantly wagging tail and a zest for life that’s hard to match. He’s the kind of dog who wakes up ready to do something—whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood, a car ride with the windows down, or showing off his signature stanky leg in exchange for a pup cup.

He’s still got that playful puppy energy, but there’s an easygoing side to him, too. After he’s gotten his zoomies out, Bluey is more than happy to settle in for a nap or hang nearby while you go about your day. He’s affectionate without being over-the-top, independent when you need him to be, and always ready to join in when it’s time for fun.

His foster family says he’s been a total pro at home—crate trained, house trained, and sleeping soundly through the night. He walks nicely on leash, rides great in the car, and has done well meeting other dogs. Kids? He’s done well there, too. Basically, he’s the kind of dog who can keep up with an active lifestyle but also knows how to chill when the day winds down.

🦴 Favorite activities: long walks, car rides, toy time, zoomies after exercise, and quality couch naps
🚗 Special skills: excellent road trip buddy, crate pro, leash walker, and part-time dance instructor
🏡 Ideal match: someone who enjoys getting outside and wants a happy, goofy sidekick along for the ride

Bluey is currently in foster care, so if you’re ready to meet your new adventure buddy, head to ral.org/dogs to apply.
