Wicker and Wilde saw a new report that found The Best Places to Celebrate Thanksgiving, They looked at 100 of the largest U.S. cities on 20 key factors, including celebrations and traditions, affordability, safety and accessibility, giving thanks, and weather.
Researchers factored in the cost of a Thanksgiving dinner, share of delayed flights, volunteer opportunities, and more. With all that in mind, Augusta, Georgia tops the list, scoring a 71.05. While Augusta lands at number one for Thanksgiving traditions and giving thanks, and at three for weather. One thing to worry about in Augusta though is safety and accessibility, since it ranks down at 95 in that category.
As far as cities in Virginia go, only one made the Top 10 and that is Virginia Beach with a score of 61.64! While the Beach scored low (55) on celebrations/traditions they tied for 4th for volunteer opportunities with 2 other VA cities!
On the flipside, San Bernardino, California was named the worst place to celebrate Thanksgiving, scoring a 39.39 and landing near the bottom for Thanksgiving celebrations and traditions, and safety and accessibility.
Wherever you plan to celebrate Wicker & Wilde hope you have a safe and happy Holiday!
