We are bringing back a Richmond tradition of the “Coaches Cook off” .
This event is a fund raising event for our new workforce development program.
Unemployment/underemployment is close to 80 % for autistics. Our workforce development program is an opportunity to help autistics learn on the job work skills and life skills so they can learn how to get long term employment and independent life skills to transition for them to live on their own as independently to the best of their abilities. Our interns will be learning these skills through coaching and hands on training at a local grocery store ( Official announcement of the grocery store will be coming in the next few weeks) Skills that they will be learning on the job will be learning to work in a grocery store or café or office work.
