Dash is proof that big personality can absolutely come in a 13-pound package.
He’s about 10 years old and has really come into his own. Once he knows you, he’s all wagging tail, happy little dances, and sweet kisses. He loves lap time and will proudly show off his “sit” command, especially if treats are involved.
Dash doesn’t hand out trust right away. If he’s unsure, especially about being picked up too quickly, he may give a little growl to let you know he needs a moment. It’s simply his way of communicating. He does best with someone patient who will move at his pace and pay attention to his cues.
On leash, he’s a great walking buddy. He enjoys enrichment, cozy naps, and can get a little chatty when he’s excited about mealtime.
