SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS - You won't find a sweeter, happier dog than Kenny! This little guy will steal your heart in an instant! He came to us from a NC shelter where he had been found as a stray. He is in great health with the exception of testing positive for heart worms. We have started treatment and expect him to have no issues. Kenny loves people and he loves other small dogs. He is tiny, so a secure home and yard are a must for this little guy who can squeeze out of most situations! He will make an excellent lap dog!
Our adoption process starts with your email to carerescue@aol.com or Petfinder inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of the dog and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and the dog at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting the dog and determining that it matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
