Zoo’s and Aquariums are doing some incredible things these days like showing children that it’s okay to be different and to give them some encouragement. Wicker and Wilde are happy to share this story of Rosie for one of today's Feel Good on the :50's.
Rosies care team at Odysea Aquarium in Arizone created a little harness that Rosie could wear so they could help her build up strength in her legs and eventually she was able to sit up and get around on her own. Now two-years-old, Rosie’s story and unique waddle is providing inspiration for kids who have challenges, too.
When children with developmental disabilities came to OdySea, Rosie came out to how the kids how she overcame adversity and showed her resilience that’s appreciated by the kids and their parents. The video is heartwarming.
