Like most Virginians Wicker & Wilde are getting ready for the Big Game on Sunday - Go Bengals! - And we loooooove the commercials. Well, this Sunday we are going to get to see a first-ever tv ad from Devils Backbone Brewing Company!
The ad focuses on DB's canned cocktail Orange Smash
It's only running in Richmond, Charlottesville and Roanoke so they're not paying the 6.5 million that other advertisers are paying. However, they're owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev so it's not like they can't afford it......but they are based in VA so they are still local.
From their press release: “So we had to take to the biggest stage we could to tell them ‘Devils Backbone’s Orange Smash is made with REAL vodka, REAL juice, and, oh, by the way, it tastes amazing and it’s one of the best selling canned cocktails in the country!’”
