Forrest is a handsome 1-year-old who loves meeting new people and gets along great with dog friends, too. There’s just one thing on his wish list: you. Forrest has separation anxiety, which means being left alone can send him into a real panic. He’s not looking for a part-time pal. He’s looking for a plus-one who’s in it for the whole party.
With time, patience, and a little creativity, Forrest can learn that it’s safe to spend time apart. There’s no overnight fix, but with guidance from a vet or behavior pro and a whole team in his corner, he can get there. And you won’t have to figure it out alone. We’ll be right there with you.
🐾 Favorite activities: meeting new friends, dog playdates, and sticking close to his favorite people
📋 Must-haves: close companionship, a patient caregiver, and someone ready to be his safe place
Forrest is ready to find his person, starting with a foster-to-adopt home. If you can offer the companionship he’s craving, come meet him at RAL during walk-in hours: Tuesday through Friday 3 to 6 pm, and weekends 12 to 5 pm. Learn more at ral.org/dogs.
