According to the latest study by Honest Paws, Shenandoah National Park is one of the best parks and hiking trails in Virginia to bring your dog. Most of the park's 500-mile trail system is open to dogs, except for about 20 miles or so. Other dog-friendly parks and hiking trails that were able to make it onto the list around Virginia are Assateague Island National Seashore, Prince William Forest Park, and Great Falls Park.
