Wicker & Wilde have a food safety recall for you, this time involving ham and pepperoni. Perdue Meat Company is recalling nearly a quarter million pounds of fully cooked ham and pepperoni products that could contaminated with Listeria bacteria.
The products wer shipped across the nation including stores in Virginia.
Listeria bacteria can cause serious infections, especially for older adults people with weak immune systems. You shouldn't eat these products if you are pregnant and young kids should also abstain. Anyone who thinks they may be sick should seek medical attention.
There is a variety of products were made on different dates but all have the same establishment number — "EST. M10125" — inside the USDA inspection tag. Check out the pic of the labels.
