HARBOR SPRINGS, MICH. (WWJ) -- One Northern Michigan city has so much holiday spirit, they’ve even captured the attention of Hallmark!
Harbor Springs, a resort town located on the north shore of Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan, is being honored by the popular television network as one of the country’s “most festive” places thanks to its scenic snowy views and beautiful holiday displays.
It's all part of Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas programming, which has the network teaming up with several cities from across the U.S. that boast “the real-life essence of the festive communities featured in Hallmark holiday movies.”
The goal is to allow people to "relax, indulge and be inspired to get into the holiday spirit" by offering live streams of five downtown displays on the Hallmark Channel's website, according to a press release.
Along with Harbor Springs, St. Petersburg, FL., St. Paul, MN., Bethlehem, PA, and Corning, NY are also being featured this year.
The towns are being live-streamed daily from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. on HallmarkChannel.com now through Dec. 30.
