After taking to the Halftime stage alongside Dr. DreSnoop DoggEminemMary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar last Sunday, in a surprise appearance, 50 Cent was mocked for his visible weight gain.

During his performance, the 46-year-old recreated the iconic upside-down visual from his music video for his hit track, “In Da Club.” However, after his performance, Fif was met with comments from body-shamers.

However, in response, it seems like 50 Cent isn’t letting the harmful comments knock him down. On Thursday, the artist took to social media to silence the haters and use the attention to promote his line of G-Unit tank tops and headbands.

Fans can now purchase the same tank tops and headbands he wore during his Halftime performance. Fif Tweeted, “Get your G-Unit Tank tops & Headbands Now.”

And then the rapper followed up on Instagram to shut down the critics commenting on his weight. Alongside a screenshot of a New York Post article about fat shamers, 50 Cent wrote, “I call this teasing me. They’re just teasing me because they know i can drop the weight. That’s why i laugh with them. Fat shaming only applies when you’re ashamed of your fat. LOL.”
