So it turns out Doja Cat will not be retiring after all, and what’s more— she has plans for her next album and apparently there won’t be a Pop song in sight… well on the tracklist, but you get it.

In a series of tweets Doja shared about the album she’s currently working that we already know will be titled, Hellmouth. She let her fans know there will be “no more pop,” as she plans to make album number four entirely rap.

She then followed up with another tweet saying, “I also agree with everyone who said the majority of my rap verses are mid and corny. I know they are. I wasn't trying to prove anything I just enjoy making music but I'm getting tired of hearing y'all say that I can't so I will.”

After cranking out viral TikTok hit after hit, like “Say So,” “Streets,” and more, it isn’t just the comments that “pushed” Doja to enact the change in musical styles, as one follower inquired about in the comments section, but also, as Doja relayed, “pop isn't exciting to me anymore. I don't wanna make it.”

Doja clearly in a giving mood, also teased a bit more about her impending album by posting a screenshot of three unfinished songs. Which she then confirmed would be included in the “10 tracks total +5 extras.”
