Kate Beckinsale is jumping on the sparkling lamé spring fashion trend.
Last week, Halle Berry sported a stunning light gold, Disco era-inspired pantsuit to the delight of her social media followers. And now Beckinsale showed off in a dazzling, mirrored, gold-flaked minidress from Atelier Zuhra on a social media post of her own.
Featuring long sleeves and intriguing sheer-nude sections, the “Guilty Party” star matched the metallic look with gold drop earrings and amazing six-inch, glossy-amber stilettos by Schutz, as Footwear News reported.
The 48-year-old didn’t just post a gorgeous photo or two, but added a surprising, quick little clip in the Instagram slideshow. In the video, she's seen selfie-style sitting in what seems like a limo as she moves the phone around to show how the dress, even in a dark car, was reflecting light spots around the back seat.
Beckinsale also included shots of her adorable kitty and captioned the slideshow, "Twinkle twinkle little cat."

Needless to say, Beckinsale wasn’t just running to the grocery store in such glamorous attire. She was on her way to Lance Bass’ birthday celebration, the outlet noted.
Just a week ago, the "Jolt" actress had another birthday party to attend – socialite/model Gigi Gorgeous Getty’s 30th – and didn’t disappoint with her outfit for that soiree. Though it was a somewhat more sedate, pale pink Christian Cowan gown with a feather-covered hem that was paired with a shiny, silver metallic necklace.

If such sparkling looks are a trend, Beckinsale might’ve started it back in December when she showed up in shimmery, sequined black minidress on the red carpet for the opening of the Carversteak restaurant in Las Vegas.
