Kim Kardashian enlisted the help of four of the world's most famous supermodels for her latest SKIMS campaign.
The 41-year-old SKIMS founder shared photos posing in bikini shapewear alongside Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Candice Swanepoel for the brand’s new “Fits Everybody” collection.
The group flaunted their curves while modeling different pieces from the new line of underwear.
While Kardashian cast the four former Victoria’s Secret Angels for the campaign, the reality star was not meant to appear in the SKIMS advertisements.
“OK so I wasn’t supposed to be in this @SKIMS campaign but I stopped by and jumped in because it was too iconic,” Kardashian captioned photos next to the quartet of supermodels. “Introducing Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra and Candice wearing our signature SKIMS Fits Everybody collection.”
Kardashian elaborated on how the campaign is meant to highlight the iconography of women.
"Every woman is an icon. I see icons reflected in the women around me: my daughters, mom, and sisters," Kardashian told People. "The women I work with each day are iconic, and so are the women I worked with for this campaign — Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra and Candice. The list goes on!"
SKIMS shared images of the 4 statuesque models wearing the line with the caption: "Icons only!" After tagging each individually, the caption continued, "Get their look with molds-to-your-body silhouettes in 9 signature shades and sizes XXS to 4X."
While supermodels may be the face of the new campaign, Kardashian insists the line was made to accommodate women of diverse body types and sizes.
"When we were developing the 'Fits Everybody' collection, it was with the intention to create underwear that would perfectly fit everybody," Kardashian added.
"To do this, we updated a fabric traditionally used as a 'one size fits all' and made it in our nine sizes — it also stretches to twice its size without ever losing shape, so it just molds to your body in the softest, comfiest way. I really believe that when we feel comfortable we're more confident and are able to show up as the best versions of ourselves."
