For the first time, the legendary fashion retailer, known for its sexy lingerie line and runway show, has announced a celebrity male brand ambassador.

As Today reported, Darren Barnet, star of the Netflix series “Never Have I Ever,” will partner with Pink, the company’s gender-free lifestyle and loungewear brand.

In the company’s press release announcement, Pink CEO Amy Hauk stated, “As we focus on expanding our gender-free offerings and continue to evolve as a brand, we want to ensure our partners not only represent the diversity of our customers, but also embody individuality and self-confidence.”

Barnet posted his own announcement to his Instagram. Sharing a faintly brooding shot of himself in a plain white tee, he wrote, “I can finally share the news! am honored to be joining @vspink as a brand ambassador! I will helping to launch new styles in their gender free collection while also supporting their initiatives in empowering young adults and mental health awareness. I am beyond excited to share some of these new styles but I am even more grateful that I can be a part of a good cause.”

Victoria Secret Pink’s Instagram shared a number of shots of Barnet in the brand's casual fashions with the caption, “Never have we ever been so excited to announce our new partnership with @darrenbarnet! As our new ambassador, the actor, producer & Netflix star has been busy curating a collection of his PINK faves…but that’s just the beginning! We’ve got lots more in store, so stay tuned!”

For the actor, as he personally expressed in his IG post, the company’s focus on mental health care weighed equally important in his decision to take on the ambassadorship.

“I wish mental health was more of a focus when I was a teenager,” the 30-year-old wrote, “and my hope is that we can reach those young adults who need to be heard and supported most.”

Barnet will soon have more time to devote to Pink's mission.

Today reported that while the third season of "Never Have I Ever" has yet to premiere, Netflix has announced the show's fourth season will be its last.
