"This song really captures me in one of my most vulnerable moments," Normani shared on Instagram yesterday. “Sharing this record makes me uncomfortable because you have never really seen me in this light. Definitely aware that you might feel like you don’t know much about me but that’s only because it’s what makes me feel protected.”

The graceful nude photo and unshielded caption sparked another trending moment for Normani, similar to her last IG post. “I am really forcing myself to let go here. This is huge for me and hopefully this piece of art resonates. Love is beautiful yet so soooo terrifying. I adore you guys to the moon and back,” she continued. The “Wild Side” singer ended the post by saying that more uptempo music is on the way.

Normani’s promo pics for “Fair” have been compared to similar grayscale pictures of R&B legends. Including Toni Braxton, Janet Jackson, Brandy, and Sade. Previously, the 25-year-old singer teased the upcoming single with a sultry photoshoot, wearing a black bikini and diamond jewelry. “Fair” drops this Friday, March 18.
