With 20 winners and several other contestants finding success after their time on the show, the Pop Culture Happy Hour podcast got curious — who is the greatest American Idol contestant of all time?

Arts journalists Linda Holmes and Stephen Thompson alongside guest host Tre’vell Anderson revealed results from their poll while taking fans on a walk down 20 seasons of memory lane with American Idol finalists.

“It's been 20 years since the beginning of American Idol,” shared Holmes. “It has inspired imitators and parodies, and it's also a show that actually made people stars. So we asked you to vote for the best 'American Idol' contestants of all time.”
