
Fans will soon get to hang with Mario and Luigi at their own theme park in the United States.
After opening the first Super Nintendo World in Japan last year, the next one is slated to open in 2023 at Universal Studios Hollywood, marking the first of the parks in America.

Super Nintendo World, which is under construction in the lower area of the theme park near the Transformers ride, will feature rides, interactive areas, as well as themed dining & shopping areas.
"#SuperNintendoWorld is opening in 2023 at Universal Studios Hollywood!" read the caption from the official Universal Studios Instagram account. "Level up with exclusive merch at the Feature Presentation store, opening soon."
A second U.S. Super Nintendo World is in the works at Universal Studios Orlando in Florida, its opening date has yet to be announced.
Some of Nintendo’s biggest characters and games include Mario, Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, Kirby, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Star Fox, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Super Smash Bros.
Prior to the new park opening in 2023, fans will be able to enjoy a new animated film in the "Super Mario Bros." franchise.
The as-yet untitled film features a star-studded cast including: Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong and Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong.
The film is set to be released on December 21, 2022, according to Variety.
