Ever wondered about why Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria’s family keeps growing? Well he’s got your answer.

In a recent Instagram post by the “30 Rock” star, 64, which he captioned: “People comment about how many children we have and ask why." He continued: “This is why. The thing in this life that matters most to me are these people.”

The post contained a video of Hilaria, 38, dressing two of their children (Eduardo and Lucia) up in floppy-eared puppy costumes and then giving them both milk bottles.

Hilaria took to her own Instagram as well posting a video of the kids dressing up and enjoying some milk. In a much longer caption she began, “Some kids want to be superheroes and royals, my babies want to be puppies… as they are animal super fans. They dressed up last night.” She also detailed the type of milk she gives the youngsters and the reasoning behind it. Those kids are going non-dairy.

Alec and Hilaria’s other children include Carmen, 8, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 5, and Romeo, 4. They announced in March they would be having a seventh child.

In October of last year, a bullet from a prop gun held by Alec on the set of the film “Rust” struck cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. She died soon after.

He will be seen next in the storm-chasing thriller “Supercell.”
