Brad Pitt didn’t have an invite.
In his cover story for W Magazine’s Best Performances issue the movie star detailed how he crashed a wedding happening in the same building he was shooting action film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” in 2003.
“I have crashed a wedding party,” the “Babylon” the star said.
“We were filming down in the Deco building downtown, and up in the penthouse above, we kept seeing people going up and down.” Pitt said.
“It was a wedding party, so I crashed it,” he recalled. “And they were okay with it.”
Pitt also discussed how his “Babylon” character’s “melancholy” moods came natural as they just “may be my natural mode of being.”
“There’s a weariness that takes over with the character as he moves on. There’s a world-weariness that I can certainly relate to a little bit,” he said.
The Damian Chazelle directed “Babylon” is in theaters now.
