According to Gizmodo, Disney’s Creative Portfolio Executive Chris Beatty showed off concept art for the franchises’ park add-ons to be inspired by the animated movies. For “Encanto” the plan would be to recreate Casa Madrigal from the feature where park-goers could explore the abode and find their own magic door.

Fans of “Coco” one day might be able to stroll through the movie’s Santa Cecilia Mexican village as El Día de los Muertos partying happens around them. A proposed ride would take those adventurous enough to strap in through a journey into the land of the dead.

Beatty discussed what could be, “Maybe there’s a little valley in front of us with the little town of Santa Cecilia and celebrating ‘Encanto,’” he said. “And what if we could… fly into the Land of the Dead with our friend Miguel, just like the Riveras [from ‘Coco’]? That’s what could be out there.”

In a darker twist, an area of Disney villains was mentioned where they would be “roaming around wreaking havoc.” Gizmodo did not seem bullish on this idea as over in California’s Disneyland the scarier elements of the Snow White ride had recently been removed.

These lofty ideas are still in the developmental stage.
