Jessica got back into the daisy dukes.
The singer and fashion brand owner posted a fresh photo this week sporting the cut off jean shorts she made so iconic in her role as Daisy Duke in the 2005 comedy remake “Dukes of Hazzard.”
She paired the jorts with a chunky, cozy black and white striped sweater and heeled black and white boots. A black cowboy hat completed the outfit to go all the way western with it.
“Pop a sidewalk squat,” Simpson captioned the post as she did just that in the image, a number of gold bracelets dangling from her wrist.
Simpson popped that sidewalk squat after revealing she lost 100 pounds after the birth of her third child, Birdie. She told Extra in September, “I feel like my old self before I had children and all the hormones running wild. I feel younger, actually.”
Along with Birdie, Simpson and husband Eric Johnson are parents of daughter Maxwell, 10, and son Ace, 9.
Simpson said she dropped the weight after going to a nutritionist and getting her eating habits in order. The weight loss comes with a bonus for the singer as well.

“I get to wear all the clothes that are in storage that I saved for Maxwell and Birdie, and maybe Birdie will wear them, because Maxwell’s already outgrown them,” she said.
