Witherspoon guested on “Late Night With Seth Meyers” this week to promote her new rom-com “Your Place or Mine” when she discussed her guest-turn on the iconic NBC sitcom.

She talked about an episode where she played Rachel’s (Jennifer Aniston) younger sister and made her case for dating Rachel’s love interest Ross (David Schwimmer). Witherspoon and Aniston are currently costars on AppleTV's "The Morning Show."

“[Rachel] gets really jealous and she’s like, ‘You can’t date Ross.’ And I was like, ‘I can’t? The only thing I can’t have is dairy,’” Witherspoon recited to the late night host.

She continued, “Their writing was really good on that show so it’s really memorable,” she continued. “I have all sorts of funny ‘Friends’ lines that are still stuck in my head.”

Meyers asked Witherspoon if she had any memories of her first time walking on the “Friends” set.

“I was terrified,” the “Legally Blonde” actress said. “I was out of my body. My body was there and my head and my brain were somewhere else. I just had a baby. That’s how I know it was 23 years ago, because now my baby is 23.”

At the time, a costar was quick to calm her nerves.

Aniston was so sweet to me. She was like, ‘They don’t care if you mess up. They actually like it better if you mess up.’”

“Your Place or Mine” begins streaming on Netflix Feb. 10.
