Sofia Vergara had enough of Howie Mandel’s humor on a recent episode of “America’s Got Talent.”
Vergara exited the stage unexpectedly as her fellow judge Mandel made a joke about her recent single status. Joe Manganiello filed for divorce from her in July.
The former “Modern Family” actress was sitting on a fake tater tot throne (Sonic is a show sponsor) and was taking a lie detector test. She passed a question saying she preferred her current show over “Modern Family” and was accused of lying when she said fellow judge Simon Cowell was “just like a sweet little puppy dog.”
Then Mandel asked, “Do you see anybody in the audience tonight that you’re interested in?”
As the crowd cheered, Vergara said “that’s it,” and took off the lie detector arm cuff before returning to her seat at the judges’ table.
Co-host Terry Crews then said, “I think she’s done.”
Mandel had previously mentioned Vergara’s relationship status in an episode earlier in the season, as he told a contestant, “If you’re looking for eligible bachelors, you should’ve talked to Sofia because she’s in the market right now,” according to EW.
“America’s Got Talent” can be seen on NBC, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.
