The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards are here with a night full of the brightest stars, big-time awards, and of course, major music moments.

Taylor Swift comes into the show leading all nominees with eight nods, followed by SZA with six, Doja Cat, Kim Petras, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, and Sam Smith each with five, and BLACKPINK, Diddy, and Shakira with four nominations each.

Additionally, a record-setting 35 first-time nominees made the list this year, including GloRillaIce Spice, Metro Boomin, Peso Pluma, PinkPantheress, Rema, Reneé Rapp, and more.
