In honor of 4/20 (the unofficial holiday celebrating Marijuana), Matthew McConaughey and his friend, Snoop D-O-double G took a joy ride around town while clearly high on life… and maybe some other things.

The experience was captured on video and posted to McConaughey’s Instagram and believe us, it’s a total mood. The besties capture themselves as they cruise around town while jammin’ out to some tunes (including Willie Nelson’s “On The Road Again, because - duh!) and even stopping at Carl’s Jr. for a snack and encouraging the young drive-thru worker to join them in singing Snoop’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”
The post has over 2 million views on Instagram alone and is receiving all the praise in the world (we are living for the comments section). Even the verified Carls Jr. restaurant account had something to say - “Iconic.”
While Snoop didn’t post the video with McConaughey to his own account, he had some other 4/20 content he was so gracious to share with fans. Snoop took to Instagram live to capture a 90-minute video, joint in hand, as he hosted Cannabis community, Weedmaps’ “Even Higher Together Virtual 420 Celebration.”
During the live he sported a bright green robe and printed bucket hat as he debuted a special playlist for viewers as they all enjoyed the holiday together. Throughout the video he can be smokin’, singin’ and waving his hand from side to side as he soaks it all up.
“It’s a vibe y’all,” Snoop said in the video. “DJ Snoopadelic, it’s a vibe.”
