Filled with I’m a weirdo anthems and relentless angst, mainstream sellout sees Baker wrestle with his demons, address his haters, and obsess over Megan Fox, to catchy melodies for all to hear. After listening to the entire album, here are 5 lyrics that now live in our brain rent free.

From “maybe” featuring Bring Me The Horizon, “I used to have a soul until I threw it away” really just cements the Blond Don’s bad boy status. Because who doesn’t want a tall punk rockstar with plenty of attitude but no soul. And just to be clear, though it might seem like it, no, we’re not being sarcastic.

MGK bites back in most of the songs on this album, from acknowledging the haters on the title track “mainstream sellout” to “I got ten fingers, just two, both hands, f*** you/ Ten toes, black boots, stomp the s*** outta you,” which is our particular favorite from the fury-filled “WW4,” and thus number two on our list.

Speaking of the title track, addressing the backlash he’s faced from switching up genres, Kelly mockingly repeats mocks “Leave the scene, you’re ruining it,” throughout the track. But our fave part of the IDGAF, imma do what I want song is “you’re no icon, you’re just a parody / You might be relevant, but just barely.”

Obviously we can’t forget about his “Emo Girl” featuring Willow, which starts off with a sample from the Megan Fox cult classic horror flick Jennifer’s Body and goes on to obsess over her until it ends. Our favorite lyric though has to be, “Half-dead, but she still looks so cute.” Because how cute, she might be dead, but clearly romance isn’t.

Once again bringing up the matter of non-existent souls on the Iann Dior assisted “fake love doesn’t last,” or actually in this case “dead ones.” Kelly relatably sings, “I don't trust a soul, not even dead ones / All it took was leavin' me on read once / You still try to call me when you get drunk / ‘Cause out of all your exes, I'm the best one.” And idk, we just really felt that.
