However, the band managed to collect yet another accolade recently, and this one is something not too many musicians have achieved.

AC/DC’s music video for ‘Thunderstruck’ reach one billion views on YouTube this week, joining Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Linkin Park, and Queen.

YouTube’s exclusive billion views club just got a little bit larger as AC/DC’s music video for ‘Thunderstruck’ reached the milestone this week. The video, which was filmed in 1990, was uploaded to the band’s official YouTube channel in 2012. At the time of its release, ‘Thunderstruck’ reached number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Mainstream Rock chart, and has only become more popular over time.

The video was directed by David Mallet and filmed at London's famed music venue Brixton Academy.

Now, ‘Thunderstruck’ joins a club that includes music videos for ‘Nothing Else Matters,’ ‘Sweet Child O’ Mind,’ ‘November Rain,’ ‘Numb,’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ It may be some time before any other video joins the club.
