Audacy’s conversation with Amalia Williams delved into what it was like not only working with the icon Brooke Shields, but her overall experience on the set of You’re Killing Me.

How was it working on a mystery drama like You're Killing Me?

"It is my favorite genre. This show is not only a mystery, but a comedy. I love comedy. So it's just it's a blending of my favorite worlds, truly. I mean, there's pressure with any role, but with this one, especially having such a huge part in it, first of all, and then also working with someone who is so legendary like you are Brooke Shields."

"There was a ton of pressure coming into this, but you kind of just have to trust that you are cast for a reason and you got to really work hard and take it day by day and and not be, I think if you're too prepared, if you think that you have a plan for how the scene is going to go, then it's obvious, it often doesn't work out that way or it doesn't come across as super authentic or organic. And that's kind of what we wanted in this show. I think adding our personalities, Brooke's personality, my personality, Tom's personality really shines through and makes it how great it is now."
