The conversation began when Seyfriend talked about walking the red carpet for the premiere of her new Hulu limited series titled “The Dropout.”

She noted it was the biggest event she attended recently, which is when Kimmel mentioned her first red carpet event.

“I did not have a stylist. I used the only money I had to buy a dress, but there were two premieres and so I had to buy two dresses because you wear different dresses,” Seyfried recalled

She explained: “I didn’t know any of the rules, so I was wearing a white bra and black underwear and no slip. I paid $600 for that dress. I couldn’t even afford a ride home, no, I’m kidding. I didn’t have a publicist. I didn’t have a stylist. I did my own makeup.

Seyfriend, who played Karen Smith, in the 2004 comedy chalked it up to “humble beginnings.”

In July, Seyfriend paid tribute to her former cast members by posting a throwback photo to Instagram of a behind-the-scenes moment.

Seyfriend can be seen standing alongside fellow cast members Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert, Jonathan Bennett, Lizzy Caplan, and Daniel Franzese. No one in the photo is wearing pink, so it probably wasn’t taken on a Wednesday.

“#FBF weekends in 2003, baby,” the “Mamma Mia” actress wrote to her 5 million followers.

"Such a fun time! A great team! ❤️ 🙌❤️," Lohan, 35, commented as Chabert, 38, added, "Wow. So many good memories! ❤️."

"We👏are👏babies👏," added Bennett, 40, while Franzese, 43, commented, "Ohhh emmm geeee," later adding, "You look just as young and beautiful still!"
