After touring all over Europe, Beyoncé returned to the U.S. for her first RENAISSANCE Tour stop in the City of Brotherly Love, aka Philadelphia. And as to be expected, Sasha Fierce did not come to play, but rather ferociously slay.

As we’ve seen from countless clips on the internet, Beyoncé puts on an incredible show. So after months of patiently waiting for Bey to return stateside, it was finally time for Beyoncé to unveil her colossal, eye-popping production in the U.S..
First opening with “Dangerously in Love,” and “Flaws and All,” then sitting elegantly atop a sliver baby grand piano for “1+1” followed by humbly thanking the crowd for their loyalty, noting “you are the reason I’m standing on this stage.” Beyoncé’s show first U.S. show in Philly did not disappoint.
Broken up into five other segments with themed — RENAISSANCE, MOTHERBOARD, OPULENCE, ANOINTED, and MIND CONTROL, the perfectly timed and polished, 2 ½-hour spectacle featuring dazzling concept videos and lots of glitzy costume changes, but was most importantly filled to the brim with a blizzard of Bey’s empowering bops and ballads.
From “I’m That Girl” featuring elements of “APES***,”“Cozy," and “Lift Off,” Bey made a quick change and entered her MOTHERBOARD era, for a trio ode to house music with “CUFF IT,” “ENERGY,” and “BREAK MY SOUL.”
While the entire tour setlist draws heavily from RENAISSANCE as to be expected, Beyoncé knows what’s up and sprinkles in the classics.
Speaking off, for OPULANCE, Bey gave us “Formation,” “Diva” “Run the World (Girls),” “MY POWER,” “BLACK PARADE,” “Savage (Remix)” and “Partition.”
Just as they did all over Europe, JAY-Z and Blue Ivy both joined Bey onstage. And despite the crowd having advance knowledge, when the pre-teen arrived during “Run the World (Girls)” to show off her dance moves for “MY POWER” the crowds decibel level got increasingly higher, as it rightfully should.
