Fans come first for Billie Eilish, and that was apparent during her performance over the weekend at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York City.
The 19-year-old was in the middle of her set, performing “Everything I Wanted” on September 24, when she saw a scuffle in the crowd and put a halt to her performance when she saw security fail to act.
“Security, why aren’t you paying attention? Like, for real,” she said in a video posted to Twitter that caught the event unfolding.
“One job, please,” she said after attempting to continue singing. “Everybody good? Are you OK?”
No further details surrounding the incident in the crowd have been released.
Days later, Eilish got the opportunity of a lifetime as she met Kate Middleton, as they both attended the Royal Albert Hall in London for the premiere of the latest James Bond film No Time to Die.
