Already accomplished award winners for their James Bond "No Time to Die" theme, the duo has again found themselves on the Oscar-shortlist for their Barbie soundtrack single "What Was I Made For?"
During the audience Q&A section of their talk with host Scott Feinberg, Billie and Finneas were asked by an attendee, "Given how great a job you've done writing songs that serve stories other than your own, would you have any interest in writing an original musical for either the stage or the screen?" .
It seemed as though this has been a thought on Billie's mind for a while, as she replied with a delightful squeal. "For sure," Finneas added.
Eilish explained her excitement further saying, “Yes, Finneas has really, really good ideas for musicals already, and I’m so excited to see where they go. I’m very excited... YEAH!”
"There's so many things racing through my brain," Billie adds of her ambitious to-do list, while Finneas doubled down saying, "I really do want to write a musical, that's the thing I really want to do."
"I would love to direct a movie one day," Billie continued, eliciting a roar from the crowd. Lastly, she says to an equally approving roar, "Like, it's not musically at all, but I really want to have a slumber party with Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice... and just be sweet, sweet girls... just be sweet together. I just wanna snuggle and be sweet. I think I could do it, too!"
