Blink-182 is now served in a chilled glass with minimum foam, thanks to a UK pub who’s turning the band’s iconic tracks into signature brews.
Phantom Brewing Company in Reading has released two new beers, “Feeling This” and “Online Songs,” that mimic the band’s cover art aesthetic on the can. The first brew draws inspiration from their 2003 self-titled album.
Smashes of aqua and pink accent a fun design featuring an alien-like head on the bottle. “Hopped with Columbus and Cascade, and then dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic, this juicy pale ale is complimented with oats in the grain bill,” the caption describes it’s flavors.
“This beer will have you smiling from ear to ear. Feeling this?”
The next concoction looked more to Blink-182’s iconic album art from Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. “Available to pre-order with Feeling This, on our webstore now!” the pub’s tweet reads with a delicious photo in toe. “This 6.0% hazy IPA made its debut on tap this weekend. Packed w/ Citra, Mosaic & Simcoe, tropical fruit and blood orange notes to wash over the palate, in a soft, modern, hop forward IPA.”
