After signing a new record deal with BMG, Breaking Benjamin is back with, “Awaken,” their first new song in five years.

Boasting Breaking Benjamin’s sonic trademarks of anthemic choruses, dense vocal production, and surging guitars, “Awaken” should excite longtime fans who have been fiending for some new music from the band since 2018.
“Working on this song has been something new and exciting for all of us I believe,” the band said in the official press release. “We’ve been able to explore more of who we are traditionally, while at the same time push boundaries and try things we haven’t done in the past. Musically we’ve tried hard to stay true to what Breaking Benjamin is, but offer a new take as well.”
All of that exploring has thankfully led to the creation of their seventh studio album. The follow-up to 2020’s Aurora, which is expected to arrive in the near future via new label home BMG.
