Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne, has legally filed a request for $600,000+ from her daughter, the total amount of legal fees she’s accumulated since the start of Britney’s conservatorship case in 2019.

The documents filed by Lynne’e attorney claim she strived to "help Britney free herself from what she saw as a very controlling existence."

They also claim, "Lynne discussed joining the conservatorship as an interested party extensively with Britney and Britney enthusiastically agreed, and indeed asked her mother to join in the case in any capacity that would help to end her nightmare and the crisis she was enduring.”

The claims raise questions for many as Britney claimed earlier this week that her mother “secretly ruined her life” in a since-deleted Instagram post.

"My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know is that my mom is the one who gave him the idea,” Spears wrote. “I will never get those years back. She secretly ruined my life … and yes I will call her and Lou Taylor out on it … so take your whole ‘I have NO IDEA what’s going on’ attitude and go f*** yourself!!!!"

Harsh words from the Pop star, who is awaiting her next court date on November 12. Spears hopes the mid-November date will mark the beginning of complete freedom from her 13-year conservatorship.
