On Twitter, the label shared a few “concept clips” to begin cluing fans into what the age of “Butter” will look, feel and sound like.

The first “concept clip” starts with a close-up of a heart-shaped pat of butter melting on a piece of toast. Then the camera moves to Jungkook, who stares into the viewer's eyes and points at us, just before making his way to his toast and spreading the heart-shaped butter. The video all happens while a constant loop of music fills the scene.

In the next clip, the same music loop plays, but this time RM slickly strolls into the frame. He taps his loafer-clad foot to the beat, looks into the camera, and then shoots confetti towards the viewer.

The third and fourth clips feature Jin and then Suga. Jin dances around with bright yellow smiley face balloons as a new drumbeat loop plays continuously. Suga grooves to the same beat as he shoots photos and radiates some pretty suave energy.

Prior to these teasers, On April 26, BTS also shared an hour-long video of a butter pat melting against a yellow background. The video already has 15 million views.

The new track is set to drop on May 21. In a press release, the band described their new single as, “a dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS." “Butter” will be the group’s second English-language bop after “Dynamite.”
