The big announcement was made via the @bts.bighitofficial Instagram which featured droplets of water creating the title of the project, FACE. Jimin also shared the video via his personal Instagram story.

The project comes after the K-Pop star partnered with BIG BANG’s TAEYANG for “Vibe,” and also released solo songs including “Lie,” “Serendipity,” and, “With You.”
According to a Weverse post that disclosed more details surrounding the forthcoming project, the album will center around the 27-year-old finding himself as a solo artist. The album is due out March 24. No further information has been revealed at this time.
Jimin is not the only BTS member to venture out solo during the group’s hiatus. Fellow member Suga recently revealed his first solo tour, while J-Hope and RM both released solo albums. Jin and Jung Kook took the opportunity to collaborate with other major artists and V starred in the reality show.
