Camila Cabello stopped by RADIO.COM's NEW 102.7 in New York to talk about the family ties on her new project, Romance, her future in acting, and Taylor Swift's 30th birthday.
Cabello told us about the first time her dad got to hear the emotional album closer, "First Man," and laughed at the idea of writing music for each member of her family. "I feel like I'm like knocking ever family member," she smiled. "Now, my mom is the one left."
Camila shared with RADIO.COM's Mike Adam, that she was instantly excited about playing Cinderella in the upcoming film set to start shooting next year. It's part of Cabello's goal to keep pushing herself into new territory. "I feel like I constantly have to be growing," she said. "It's a challenge for sure, but it just teaches me new ways of being and of creating, and teaches me a lot about life actually."

This weekend Taylor Swift celebrated her 30th birthday, so we had to ask Camila for some gift advice. "I think you have to go with something heartfelt. That's what I'm gonna do." she explained. The two have been longtime friends, touring together on the Reputation Stadium Tour through much of 2018. Cabello also had high praise for Swift's "Lover" remix featuring boyfriend Shawn Mendes.
"They just sound perfect together," she said glowingly. "It sounded like it was meant to be."
