Before welcoming her second child with hubby Offset, Cardi B kept herself busy taking on challenges and jumping way out of her comfort zone for her Facebook series, Cardi Tries.
That said, on the latest episode which aired Friday 10/9 (just in time for National Coming Out Day on 10/11), the task Cardi tried was more fun and joyous than outright challenging.
Cardi, with the help of Raven-Symoné, helped a California woman named Brandi Taylor throw a surprise pop-up wedding for her girlfriend of three years, Shannon Herbert.
Brandi, Cardi, and Raven picked out tableware, selected the perfect wedding dress, and mentally prepared for the big moment, which clearly got Cardi in her feels, prompting her to express - "I want to get married again!" Cardi explained that she married Offset in her bedroom and still hopes she'll be able to have a wedding of her own someday with an extravagant dress, a ring, and a delicious cake.
With both brides standing at the altar, Cardi appeared shocking not only Shannon but all in attendance. And while the entire event was a special surprise, Cardi’s presence was perhaps the most exciting of all.
As seen in the episode above and in a teaser below after the excitement settled down, Cardi began: "Not only is this is a special day for you guys, it's a special day for me," she said as she prepared to officiate the wedding. Adding, "and I want to thank you guys for making me a part of your beautiful journey,” before getting a little teary eyed.
After tearing up for real over Brandi's heartfelt vows, Cardi welcomed Raven as the ring bearer and afterwards excitedly announced, "I now pronounce you wife and wife,” to an already cheering crowd.
"After doing this today, I feel like I really have to have that sit-down with my husband," Cardi said after the ceremony, explaining that she and Offset have discussed having another wedding but continue to put it off because of their busy schedules. "I want this feeling. I want my freaking wedding." Well, Cardi did catch the bouquet at the end of the ceremony, after all, so we definitely hear extravagant wedding bells in her future.
