The 32-year-old recently joined Audacy’s Rob + Holly and shared she is continuing to grow her bucket list to keep her dreams big and head held high.
“I have a lot of things [on my bucket list], I have a lot of venues I would love to sell out. The Ryman was was one those but now I get to check that off, so that’s exciting” she said referring to her upcoming shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
“I’d love to win a GRAMMY one day,” she added. “That would be super cool! It’s funny, a lot of my things have come true this year.”
While Carly may make it all look easy, the big bucket list moments are a result of pure hard work and determination since the time she was little.
“I really don’t know a day that I didn’t want to sing Country music and where that wasn’t what I wanted for my life,” she said. “My first memories are school talent shows and solos in school choir and then when I was 10 I was asked to front a bluegrass band…. I look back at that and I’m like, ‘how did you people think I was a good singer?’” She laughed.
We love to see dreams coming true for this Kentucky native and we can’t wait to see which item on that bucket list gets checked off next!
