CBS has dropped a first look at the highly-anticipated "NCIS" spinoff set in the Aloha State.

“NCIS: Hawai’i” is scheduled to premiere in the fall and will star Vanessa Lachey as the show’s lead.

In the new teaser, fans get a glimpse of what to expect from Lachey and her character Jane Tennant, the first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor.

The clip begins with scenes from the other three shows in the franchise. “The #1 series in the world gets a new latitude,” flashes across the screen as Lachey introduces her character.

“I am the first female lead of the NCIS franchise and I don’t take that likely,” the 40-year-old says. “I am excited to bring a different layer to this role and hopefully inspire this next generation of young girls and women.”

Her character is also the mother of a 15-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl.

“I think Hawaii is the perfect setting for NCIS in the next chapter of the franchise so to speak,” Lachey adds. “There’s so much beauty there. There’s so much culture there. Hopefully, I can portray to everyone and share the beautiful side of Hawaii.”

The actress and former MTV "TRL" host, who is married to former 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey, shared the teaser on Instagram and expressed her excitement with the caption, “I’m sooo ready to bring this character to life! There’s nothing she won’t do for family or country! So Let’s GO!”

Other cast members include Yasmine Al-Bustami as Lucy, Jason Antoon as Ernie, and Noah Mills as Jesse.

The teaser comes as “NCIS: New Orleans” is wrapping up its run after seven seasons on May 23, while the original “NCIS” series was recently given a go-ahead for a 19th season. “NCIS: LA” was also renewed for its 13th season.

While an exact premiere date for “NCIS: Hawai'i” has yet to be announced, CBS has revealed it will air Mondays at 10pm, immediately after “NCIS.”
