It’s a girl!
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt.
Pratt introduced their daughter to their world in an adorable Instagram photo, an up-close shot of the parents holding their baby’s hand.
“We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt,” Pratt captioned the post.
He added: “We couldn’t be happier. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed. Love Katherine and Chris.”
Pratt also added two psalms to his caption, one saying “we are filled with joy,” and another saying that the family is blessed.
The birth of their daughter comes just one week after the “Jurassic World” star showed off his "Gift of Forgiveness" author wife's baby bump on Instagram.
“Ready to pop / still don’t stop,” Pratt jokingly captioned a pic of the two on a hike. “Top of the mountain today.”
News of Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s pregnancy first made the rounds back in April, just ten months after their wedding in June 2019.
This is Schwarzenegger’s first child. The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor shares a seven-year-old son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Faris.
