Chris Young is back on the road and happier than ever to be visiting with all his "Famous Friends" across America.

Playing some of his first shows back over the weekend in California, Chris says he experienced his "comeback" summer moment, where he was able to forget about the difficulties of the past year and be excited for what's to come.
In addition to performing on stage, in front of a live crowd for the first time since the lock-down began, Chris also got to experience the crowd's reaction to his new song, "Famous Friends," which came out during the pandemic.
"I just did my first shows out in California and it's one of those things, in March we weren't sure these shows were even going to happen and we continued to hold the dates," Chris told Audacy's Kelly Ford. "It was just surreal, it was amazing... It went over better than I even thought it could. It was fun seeing everybody sing along to that song."
While filling Kelly in on his nostalgic weekend, Chris also took some time to shoutout some of Ford's Famous Friends list, which was created to shine a spotlight on country fans all over the tristate.
Chris sang praises for Kelly Ford in the Morning's famous friend #87 (Tammy, a special education techer), famous friend #34 (Vinny from Staten Island) and famous friends #81 (Bernadette, a youth soccer league coach in Jersey).
