DC Shoes has teamed up with the hit animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers to release a tasty looking sneaker collaboration. The shoe company is dropping several burger-themed sneakers that’ll please any fan of the show.
“We love Bob's Burgers and had a great time working with the teams at Disney and Bento Box to bring this collaboration to life. Merging the bold self-expression of DC skateboarding with the irreverent Bob's universe proved to be an extremely natural process. We hope all the fans enjoy this collection as much as we do,” Michael Minter, Global Head of Marketing at DC Shoes said in a statement.
Pro-skateboarder Josh Kalis has had himself morphed into a Bob’s Burgers character as the DC x BB Kalis OG will feature an animated version of the skater on the shoe’s footbed. Additionally, a neon-green glow-in-the-dark sole can be seen on the shoe. “Bob’s is literally on at my house 24/7,” he said in a statement.
DC also partnered with chef Alvin Cailan to create several burger recipes that were inspired by skateboarding tricks. Pop Chevre It, Portobell-No Comply, Frontside 360 Pickle Flip, and Big Spin-ach, are just a few of the examples.
The full "menu" of DC's Bob's Burgers will be available for purchase on May while the DC x BB Kalis OG shoes will be available on May 15.
