In honor of America’s 250th birthday, Dennis Quaid joined Heather Froglear this week on 90s Country with Heather, to talk about the important work of the organization, Honoring Our Fallen.

Dennis works with the organization, that offers families’ support upon the death of a military or first responder hero. Honoring Our Fallen supports families by being a calming force in the face of their chaos, allowing the family to mourn their grief.
Quaid is proud of the work he does for the families, and also of the country as it hits the 250 milestone.
“We have made it through every challenge, every era,” he shares. “From a Revolutionary War to Civil War, through civil rights, through COVID, through everything, and we're still the United States.”
“We fight like cats and dogs, but I think it's made us a great country actually. You know, if we step back and look, sometimes it's hard to step back and look until about 10 or 20 years down the road, but to see where we come from, and still remain an optimistic country that is looking towards the future and for the whole world, not just our country.”
