Citing that “Hip-Hop is the soundtrack to our lives,” he also explained how Hip-Hop and rap music are quite literally ingrained into our lives. Using himself as an example he shares how being from the inner-city, Hip-Hop was the “backdrop” to life, and that it’s been “synonymous to everyday life,” he says.

Finally, although his pen game is for scripts and not rhymes, Deon added that he plays music on every set... and real loud.
